CPO CERTIFIED POOL OPERATORS Certification

The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) protects and advances the common interests of the industry by providing education, advocacy, standards development, research, and market growth to increase our members’ professionalism, knowledge, and profitability. Heather Sifrit graduated from Valley Forge College with a BA in teaching. She taught swim coaches and children's swimming for 8 years. During that time, she was employed as a manager/supervisor for major pool companies. In 1997, she began her own pool company and today she teaches hotels, gyms, and other organizations the elements of pool building and care. Heather has taught the CPO for the last 25 years. The course has a textbook and is also blended learning. When she has time, she teaches Ellis, which includes lifeguarding, CPR, and AED.😀
